I will not lie. I am nervous as hell.
We are five days away from moving into the Rambler (I’ll be MIA for three of those) and it’s becoming a reality. Oh shit. Are we going to be ready?
The answer is probably not 100 percent ready. There are going to be things we’ll have to touch up on after we move in. Exhibit A: the fridge. It does not work and needs to be replaced. Exhibit B: curtains. We need pretty ones and Amazon was not a help.
Things that will happen this weekend: Mom and friends will finish installing the floor and edge trim. They will move in the furniture.
Like in many areas of Life, one can only plan, organize and prepare so much.
And then, at some point, you just gotta do it. Dive in. Jump. Plug your nose. Go underwater (in the best sense of the phrase).
Our planning, organizing, preparing is rapidly nearing an end. And in five days? We’re taking the leap.
